Whispered Interpreting (chuchotage)
In whispered interpreting (or chuchotage), the interpreter listens to the speaker speech and whispers it simultaneously, to one or at most two delegates.
As a translation company with a translation office in Lisbon and another translation office in Porto, AP|PORTUGAL is experienced in chuchotage. This interpreting mode is more suitable for situations where only a small number of people require interpreting. It is ideal for audiences of just a single person, but it can also be used for audiences of several people if they are grouped together close to the interpreter. This technique is not suitable for audiences greater than four people.
