Here is a summary of our Confidentiality and Service Agreements.
Due to the nature of our work, AP | PORTUGAL often gains access to extremely confidential information related to documents, contacts, strategies, methods, products and services, as well as clients' data.
AP | PORTUGAL promises not to make use of any details confided to us for personal benefit or disclose them to third parties unless granted explicit permission to do so.
AP | PORTUGAL recognises the obligation to respect professional confidentiality. We will never use your data for any purpose other than to provide you with a service.
AP | PORTUGAL and all its employees are subject to confidentiality rules, according to the quality standard ISO 17100:2015.
Unlike common practice, where your documents could be sent by email from one department to another, AP | PORTUGAL has as an internal procedure not to send attachments with confidential documents. The only email we process is the one we receive from the client.
All the information and documents sent by the client are on our servers within our advanced system of translation management, which only the employee designated by us for that particular job can access.
Therefore, the translator, using the required safety procedures, logs in with their user name and personal password on our platform, and only has access to files that they will translate / review.
