TRANSCRIPTION

SPEED. CONFIDENTIALITY. FAIR PRICING.

AP | PORTUGAL has a transcription service in the majority of media:
Cassette, MINI DV, MiniDisc, CD-ROM, MP3, DVD, VHS, etc.

The simple transcription service of audio without translation is the most sought by our clients.
In the cases where it is necessary to translate, transcription is carried out first in the source language. After so, the contents are translated to the desired language thus guaranteeing a precision translation.

HOW DO WE MEASURE THE WORKLOAD?
60 Minutes of audio recording represent approximately 30 pages of text, which may vary according to the speakers’ speech speed.

AP | PORTUGAL never uses the original sound recording to carry out the transcription. This work is always done by resorting to a digital copy.

Therefore,
1. We avoid unnecessary wear of the original recordings;
2. The clients can have the sound recordings back in a short space of time – something vital in court cases, for example;
3. The transcription process becomes easier and faster.

AUDIO IN BAD CONDITION?
By resorting to specialised software, it is possible to improve the perception of the audio files. Recovery can come close to 100% for cases of constant background noise. Ask us for an opinion. We’ll carry out a free diagnosis of the sound, as well as a quote at no cost or commitment.

WE RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY. AP | PORTUGAL never shares private files with third parties without authorisation from the proprietors, the same way that it also takes measures to prevent unauthorised access of third parties to those documents.
